Great TV Shows Worth Your Time:
4 Seasons or More
Platform:
Amazon Prime
6 Seasons, ~50min episodes
Warning: There is a lot of sexual violence, nudity, and medical-type gore. Personally, I watch this show through the platform VidAngel which filters it all out for me.
I absolutely love the storyline of this show. It is based on a 10-book series and has the most stunning sets and music scoring. The acting is phenomenal, especially by the main character Claire. I watched 5 seasons in 13 days when I first started. Granted it was during quarantine so I had 60 hours of time to kill, but still, it was amazing and I have watched it multiple times since. I'm not normally into shows that are based in the past but this one is incredible!
Outlander
5 Seasons. ~50min episodes (For purchase on Prime and Peakcock, but free on YouTube TV )
Warning: Bad language and a LOT of violence
The ethics in this show... well they don't exist. It is also the most "manly" show I've ever watched. Its target audience is 100% older men but there is something about it that just hooked me and I've enjoyed every season so far, as much as I hate to say it.
Yellowstone
5 Seasons. 43min episodes
This show is an oldie but a goodie. Its the Canadian SWAT team and each episodes starts with the flashpoint (which is a term used for the moment before water boils). This means it starts with the moment everything is about to go wrong, and then they flashback to earlier in the day to see what built up to that moment. I really like how they help you empathize with the "bad guys" to realize that sometimes it's small things that lead to terrible choices and it's not always bad people that make those choices. Very clean, super entertaining, and overall fantastic show

Netflix Shows I Just Didn't Vibe With
It doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad show or I don't think others would like it... but I just didn't like it enough to recommend it. Most of these shows I watched a few seasons of, but eventually just got bored and stopped.

We all know I watch WAY too much TV, but the good news is, I am the ultimate person to recommend shows that I think others would like. These ratings are according to my “public review” scale, but just know if I post the show here it means that I think the majority of people will like it.
They are in no particular order, but they are organized by streaming platform! This post does not include any series under 3 seasons because I have a different post "Best Quick Binges- 3 Seasons or Less" you can check out!
8 Seasons, 43min episodes
Similar to Psych in the sense that it is a funny detective show. Monk has severe OCD and although it’s an older show it is still a solid watch.
Monk
43 Seasons, hour-long episodes
I've been a Survivor fan my whole life so I had to add this one. Some seasons are better than others for sure, but overall it's been on the air so long because it really is fun to watch.
Must watch seasons to start off with (in my opinion):
Season 13, 19, 20, 26, 27, 39, 40
Survivor
8 Seasons, 43min episodes
I watched this show during my teenage years with my family. It's funny and very entertaining and a very non-commital type of show. It’s one where you can watch it in order or just pick and choose an episode and only half-watch.
Psych
Amazon Shows I Didn’t Fully Love
Chuck 6/10
Downton Abbey 6/10: After 5 seasons the drama got to be a bit too much for me
Lost 6/10: Like most drama’s I’m in it for 5 seasons and then peace out, or in this case, my interest “got lost” (ba dum tss)
Suits 5/10: Watched the first 4 seasons and got bored
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel 7/10: I enjoyed the first two seasons but got bored with the third one
White Collar 5/10: I’m just not huge into cop shows

Netflix
4 Seasons, 42min episodes
Warning: It is a TV-14 rating so there is no nudity or super bad language, but you do have some F-words throughout the series, and in the first couple episodes of the 1st season they are establishing Murphy as a drug/sex addict who is a complete mess, so it does show a few sex scenes for the first two episodes.
This show has some amazing writers. It is about a blind girl who finds her friend murdered in an ally, but she leaves to find help and when the police arrive the body is gone... and their only witness is a drunk blind girl. So naturally, no one believes her and she goes to solve the murder herself. There are SO many twists and turns and the main character Murphy is an amazing actor. Great show if you like a high-intense mystery with a hint of comedic writing mixed in between.
In The Dark

Do you want a hilarious show that convinces you that you could be a criminal? This is the show for you. Right when you think you know what’s going to happen next... I promise you don't. Keeps you on your toes, with witty writing, and enough suspense to make it a good binge.
Good Girls
7 Seasons, 42min episodes
An absolute classic. Just a wonderful show that I suggest to anyone who hasn't seen it, totally worth your time. But please, for me, don't be distracted by how hot he is... Jess is a terrible boyfriend to Rory. And for that reason, I will stick with team Logan. Thank you.
